Well, mostly has been said at this point. Everything about this game is amazing. Love the art, the story up to the ending, the usage of window size and other things (palette/color swap for room reading/denoting current emotion.) It's a bittersweet game.
just finished playing this game. its short and bittersweet. the art, color palette and music create a cold and nostalgic ambiance. loved the ending, it surprised and conforted me. overall a touching experience and as badrusso said, quite a creative use of rpg maker.
This feels like a lowkey genius made it, perfect little experience that feels like it was made to be played in the small default resolution and feels even better for it. The vibes are immaculate, love the idea to make us hammer the gun with the BACK key (just a creative use of RPGMaker overall), and I personally love the art. Bravo! The animation going on in the first 'encounter' blows my mind too.
Hey ! I downloaded the game but was unfortunately unable to get past the intro chat. After your character talks about the snowstorm and having to move forward, I'm stuck on a black screen with snow.
I hope you'll be able to find out if it is indeed a bug and fix it as I'm sure from your screenshots there's something really interesting to play here !
Did you by chance press the "Up" key on your keyboard? On the controls screen in the beginning of the game I put "FORWARD" and "BACK" in all caps as a reference as what you need to press when she says those words in caps in the text.
Played it till the end. Very nice setting, story and ambiance. I think you've achieved something very interesting and gripping in such a short space of time !
Nah I should've made it more clear so thank you for letting me know! Also thank you so much! It's the first game I've ever completed after starting many others and never finishing them, I really appreciate it ^_^

(Anyway, I did a playthrough, feel free to check it with commentary, or just no commentary)
